ALINVEST commences energy saving measures
Within the framework of the grant program OPPI (Operational program of enterprise and innovations), ALINVEST is realising a total of 18 measures, which mostly entail the isolation of the building and production areas, usage of waste heat through recuperation and also the change from steam heating to warm-water heating.
All measures have been carried out using the most modern trends in isolation and regulation technology. As a result, there will be significant savings along with the creation of a more modern and more pleasant working environment. ALINVEST materials have been used for the overall modernisation of the company’s outer appearance – shaped aluminium sheets in the colour of RAL 9007 Aluminium Grey. In the period of 2010 - 2012 a total of 100 million CZK was invested, from which 40% came from EU funds.
“The measures towards saving energy are a natural reaction by the company to the consistently growing prices of utilities. The preparations for this strategy began in 2007. The company was gradually cleaned and an audit was carried out in terms of the use of energy and experts assessed the building in terms of its structural aptitude. The audit clarified the situation about the use of utilities and technology within the building. Our experts compiled a study and analysis, which was used to create a file of measures, which were to be employed to significantly cut the consumption of heat and also electric for using lights” says Robert Macek-chief executive officer.
The complete application was, in 2009, assigned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the realisation of 18 measures. All of the measures were evaluated by a specialist state commission and were approved without further limitations. Furthermore, the company management asked the board of directors for approval. A positive response was received in the spring of 2010.
