FOIL FOR CONVERTING PLANTS
Foils made of aluminium and aluminium alloys with a thickness of between 0,006 - 0.040 mm possess features typical of aluminium products, such as excellent barrier properties, low weight, non-toxicity and chemical stability in the air.
The chemical composition complies with EN 602 and the lubricants used for rolling comply with 21 CFR 178.3910 (FDA).
Applications
Generally, foils made of aluminium and aluminium alloys can be used in the production of materials such as:
- packaging materials for the food industry (chocolates and confectionery wraps, packaging for butter, fat, curd and frozen products)
- the tobacco industry (foil cover inside cigarette packs)
- blister foils for the pharmaceutical industry
- aluminium dishes/bowls
