Foils for insulation and other technical applications
Foil made of aluminium and its alloys with a maximum thickness of 0.4 mm has properties typical of aluminium products, such as excellent barrier properties, low weight, non-toxicity and chemical stability in the air.
Applications
- Generally, foils made of aluminium and aluminium alloys can be used:
- for hydrothermal insulations (sauna, swimming pools, underneath roofing)
- for radon barriers
- in the production of bituminous hydroinsulating stripsů
- in the form of sealing and insulating adhesive strips
- in electrical engineering - production of capacitors, cable shielding
- in laboratories, etc.
