Chocolate, chocolate products and sweets must be protected from the effects of light, humidity and air, and chocolate must also be protected from fat penetration and from losing its aroma. The chocolate is packed in non-coated, one or two side transparent lacquer coated, or thermoplastic lacquer coated aluminium foil. The foil can be embossed with various designs or texts, as per customers' requests. The common chocolate foil thickness is 0.010 - 0.014 mm, with embossed foil thickness from 0.010 mm.
Embossed Al foil
Used especially for packaging chocolate bars. The 0.010 - 0.014 mm foil is embossed as per customer requirements (logo, text, graphics).
Colour Al foil for packaging of sweets
Whole-area coloured 0.010 - 0.014 mm foil coated with protective lacquer.
Printed Al foil for packaging of Christmas and Easter chocolates and sweets
0.010 - 0.014 mm foil, decorated with flexographic or gravure print with a protective lacquer coating.
