Foil for converting plants
Aluminium and aluminium alloy foil with a thickness of 0.006 to 0.040 mm has the same characteristic properties as an aluminium product, e.g. excellent barrier properties, low weight, and hygiene safety and chemical stability in air. The chemical composition corresponds to the EN 602 and rolling lubricants comply with the 21 CFR 178.3910 (FDA).
Use
Aluminium and aluminium alloy foils are generally used to produce:
- packaging material for the food industry (chocolate and sweet foil; butter, fat, curd, and frozen product packaging)
- in the tobacco industry (inner liner in cigarette packs)
- blister foil for the pharmaceutical industry
- aluminium containers
