Aluminium Alloys

slitiny-hlinikuThe most important application of aluminium is in the form of alloys, the best known being definitely the alloy with magnesium, copper and manganese, known as duralumin.

This material is much stronger and harder than pure aluminium but maintains a very low specific weight.

It is also very resistant to corrosion.

All the above properties predetermine duralumin to become the ideal material for the aerospace and automotive industries, but we can also find it in the manufacture of lifts, bicycles, lightweight ladders and similar applications.
