We are serious about quality
April 6, 2011 - In March, we went through the regular quality system audit in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 standards performed by the LRQA certification company (Lloyd´s Register Qualilty Assurance).
We justified our full qualification to use the certificate. The audit identified zero nonconformance. We now continue the ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 standard series in the current three-year period, for which the certificates were awarded to us.
What are the standards good for?
"ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard of the Quality Management System (QMS). The standard provides the company with a system and a set of rules ensuring a logical approach to business activity management which will satisfy each and every one of our customers," Ing. Petr Martínek – Quality Assurance Manager explained.
What is regulated by ISO/TS 16949:2009?
The third version of the ČSN ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard - Quality Management Systems - was issued in December 2009. The standard defines the quality management system requirements for design and development, batch production, installation and service of products in the automotive industry. This specification can be applied across the whole automotive industry supply chain. It specifies the basic requirements for the quality management system for companies who undertake to apply it, together with feasible specific requirements from each customer. Its purpose is to eliminate multiple certification audits and to provide a uniform approach to the quality management system of companies working in batch production and companies manufacturing spare parts in the automotive industry.
